How to Print Selective Text?

When you have large documents and you need to print a little area of text from those documents, sometimes it you print a lot of junk pages just to take print of a little area text. It does not only consume extra printer ink, energy and pages but also wastes your precious time. To get ride of this issue, you need to follow the tip given below to save your time and pages. It makes your printing results more concise and clear.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the text document/webpage you want to print and select it.
  2. Click on the File menu -> Print option. It opens a Print dialogue box.
  3. Look for the option Selection in Print range section along with All and Pages options. Choose Selection.
  4. Click Ok button to take a print.


Please note that all printers or systems may not be supporting the Selection option under Print range in Print dialogue box. This can be viewed different with different printers. It depends on both the printer type and the software application you use to take print, for instance, Netscape does not support this trick to take selective print.

There is another way to take selective print. Just copy your text into Word document and take the print.
