Presenting Text in Form of Columns

Do you know that text in Word document can be arranged in multiple columns? Yes it is possible. You must have seen in magazines and newspapers that text appears in column form. For particular types of documents, columns are quite useful. It is a powerful feature of MS Word to present text in form of columns. Making columns of text is very simple. You need to follow the given steps:

Select that text which you want to present in form of columns.

On the Menu bar, click Format menu.

Select Columns from format menu.

A dialog box will appear with the title “Columns”. Here you will select number of columns as well as width of each column and space between columns.

Now select checkbox named Lined between in order to draw lines between columns. Click OK to finish this process.
